Things like Sandy Hook and the Boston Marathon bombings always leave me crawling back to God. The suffering, emotions, and pain from these tragedies come solely from humanity. It gives you that aching feeling that there has to be more than this. America isn’t the same anymore. We’re not a symbol of power, strength, and freedom. We’re a symbol of devastation. But don’t lose hope! Good will always outweigh evil. Every time. A mentally disturbed person bombed Boston, however, people were sprinting toward the attack to help, sprinting to the hospital to donate blood, carrying the injured, comforting the victims, praying with each other. There was SO much more good in this situation than the evil that started it. I’ll say it again, good will always outweigh evil. Every time.
Maybe it’s because I have a nasty cold and have been thinking too much, but this was just really on my mind.
Just do it.
